CH Desert Guide Arden, JH, CD, WC, CGC, TD March 1, 1989-February 12, 2003 Arden was the beginning of our Wynmar Labrador legacy. She came to us as a member of the breeding program for a guide dog school. However, her accomplishments went way beyond producing potential guide dogs. Shortly after coming to live at our home, she began teaching us just what is in the heart of a Labrador. She was a devoted family member, helped to raise our daughter, as well as taught me more about retrieving birds than I ever expected to know in my life. She went on to become a show champion and a therapy dog with Delta Society. She earned an obedience and two hunting titles . Nothing daunted her. And now we have grandchildren and great-grandchildren at home, making wonderful pets for families, as well as hunting and companion dogs for the disabled. Several of her progeny have also entered the obedience and conformation rings, and hunt tests, acquiring titles along the way. Never a day goes by that we look in the faces of our dogs, and see that same devotion and enjoyment in life that Arden has passed down. We miss you much, Arden, but thank you for those who have come after to help heal our hearts when you left us.
